Purpose

Pocok.Licensing provides offline license documents, signature verification, claim validation, and runtime enforcement for .NET applications.

Quick start

Choose an example, edit the claims and runtime facts, then generate a signed transferable license or run LicenseValidator. The public sandbox keeps every value in memory.

Supported claims

Claims cover validity windows, maximum process runtime, modules, machine fingerprints, a license-scoped pre-shared-key digest, and non-secret metadata.

Signature boundary

Applications receive public keys and verify signed ECDSA P-256 envelopes with LicenseReader. Private signing keys must remain outside client deployments.

Runtime enforcement

LicenseValidator returns stable result codes. LicenseService caches the latest refresh and LicenseGuard converts failed checks into operation-level exceptions when required.

Production notes

Licensing is an offline deterrent, not an unbreakable DRM boundary. Keep valuable checks close to protected work and exclude secrets from logs and diagnostics.
